What does a Merchandiser do?
Retail Merchandising Services is a merchandising company that works exclusively
in Target stores. We are hired by Target directly, and by vendors that sell products
in Target Stores, to complete merchandising projects in Target stores all over the
country. You are assigned a store near your home and you have responsibility for
all merchandising projects scheduled to be completed in your store.
General duties include stocking product, setting product to planogram, keeping the
product area clean and organized and pulling damaged product off the salesfloor.
We do extensive work in the Sunglass and Electronics Departments but also enjoy
the variety provided by completing other project work in all areas of the Target
stores. Project work varies but typically includes putting stickers on products,
auditing planograms, finding defective items, and removing damaged products.
What days & hours will I work?
Projects in your assigned store must be completed during the week they are scheduled.
With very few exceptions, you control the dates and times
that you complete the projects assigned to you (within the scheduled week). Our
reps love the flexibility of weekly scheduling. And, since all work is done in your
assigned Target store you don’t need to drive all over town to get to multiple retailers.
All your work is done in one location.
